About

In the area of ​​Information Security, several services are available to users of LNEG’s computer systems, including the following:

  • Security Incident Response – Management and mitigation of incidents in the scientific community;
  • Vulnerability Monitoring and Management – ​​With continuous actions for risk detection, assessment, and mitigation;
  • Access control mechanisms – Credentials (username/password);
  • Digital Certificates – Enabling the provision of web services with secure channels (SSL) and digital signatures to users;
  • Security Audits – To ensure the compliance and robustness of infrastructures;
  • Training – To raise awareness among the academic community about IT security risks.

This document describes the LNEG’s IT security incident response service in accordance with RFC2350. LNEG is a state-owned laboratory comprised of:
